The snapshot betas were growing ever-smaller and we knew it was coming, but now Mojang has made it official. The Minecraft 1.18 release date, including all Caves & Cliffs Part 2 features is scheduled to launch in November. The update will be available across all platforms Minecraft supports, and finally brings us a host of new biomes, revamped world generation, and more.



Minecraft 1.18 will be available on November 30. one game per day update will be available on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Linux PCs. The Bedrock Edition will launch on the PlayStation 4 – deep breath – PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S.



The update features new world generation and enhanced cave systems as well as candles. But, as previously announced, some features have been pushed back from 1.18 – and they won’t make 1.19 (also called The Wild update) either as the developers have now confirmed.



Archaeology, bundles, as well as goat Horns, bundles, and goat “have been put on hold” as the developers explain in the announcement. They are not being removed. We just needed to put them on hold for now.
